Dear students,
The student council (AStA) is yet again launching its annual “Haste mal ‘n Sofa” project.
As the housing market here can at times render it difficult to find a new home before the start of a new semester, our campaign aims to arrange a place to stay for freshmen in need of accommodation in order to bridge the initial period of their studies in Constance.
The idea is that any students who have a spare couch at home can offer to take in a newcomer until they find a more permanent place of their own. This will not only give them the chance to continue their search for an apartment on location but also to get accustomed to life in Constance and meet new people here. But if there's also an accomodation needed our project is also for you!
It is to be noted that although this offer is free of cost, it is meant as a temporary arrangement and not as a long-term solution.
Last year, we were able to successfully provide temporary accommodation for more than 50 students new to Constance!
